With the release of this mod chip , came 2 other options to further help every gaming fanatic get their hands on a modded controller. The first being a send-in or mail-in mod service. This service was considerably cheaper since the price of a new Xbox 360 controller was dropped from the price. The second option was the mod kit. This was very cheap and allowed the skilled or un-skilled modder to purchase a mod chip and easily install it in their controller.
The GamerModz send-in or mail-in mod service was simple. For around $30.00 USD, you could mail in your Xbox 360 controller and GamerModz would install their mod chip in to your controller. When this option was available, it was big hit.
The mod kit option allowed customers to purchase mods for their Xbox 360 controller at around $20.00 USD. This kit was not just the mod chip itself; the kit also included high quality wire, solder and buttons (if necessary). This allowed the customer to install the kit with nothing more than a soldering iron and maybe a drop of glue to hold the mod chip in the controller.
Through the years, GamerModz has continued to adapt to changing times and combat the video game developers attempts at patching the Rapid Fire technology. This has kept GamerModz on its toes bring new Rapid Fire technology to the market for 4 years.
